Today we celebrate our 2nd anniversary.
"Over the past two years Impromptu Senpai has seen some of the finest clean racing in Grand Theft Auto V Online. Our biggest successes have been seen in our diverse catalogue of Competitive Racing Events held by some of our most dedicated members.
The extraordinary time and effort spent by each event host has provided our community with some phenomenal moments and has brought the racing community we know and love together.
From our oldest friends, to our newest members. There have been just a few events that will forever be the history of what this crew set out to achieve. Clean, fast and fantastic racing of the highest skill."
Below are a few events...memories that most of you will have shared with us.

San Andreas Touring Car Championship Season 1: Sep 11th - Oct 30th 2015
Our crew originated from a few like-minded individuals with clean racing etiquettes but also a desire to explore the vast selection of cars in the game and race them under intense pressure.
This sparked an interest in one of our first and famous event hosts: iEnf0rcer. Our first Event Series (lasting a total of 8 weeks) was based on real life Touring Car racing using cars in GTA that resembled the real life automobiles.
The Series required drivers to test their ability in 3 less used and certainly difficult cars; the Asea, Schwartzer and Sentinel XS. As much as this proved difficult, drivers quickly rose to the challenge and began to throw the cars around the tracks creating some intense battles and really showcasing the Impromptu spirit. A fantastic event to kick-start the Impromptu Racing era.

Following on from such a high pressure event, a gap ensured racers were fully prepared for the next big event to come to Impromptu. During this break we saw a rise in unique One-Off Events hosted by Major Copyright. These events involved two or more cars facing off against each other. It was a great experience for the community to handle new cars and broaden the racing experience.

Impromptu Multi-Class Endurance Championship Season 1: Oct 7th - Dec 2nd 2015
We also saw the rise of Frostmoar’s first Impromptu Event in the form of Multi-Class Endurance Racing. Whilst not being one of our larger events at the time it gave a lot of our newer and younger crew members a chance to jump on to the scene with new arrivals such as wood45, BallisticBlaze3, FunkierExpert7 and JESO 040102. They all showed signs of improvement in both pace and racecraft showing the benefits of racing in our close knit community.
This event showcased our ability to race a range of mixed paced cars on the same track, without issues when lapping and integrating with different GT classes.

Grotti Turismo World Championship Season 1: Nov 21st 2015 - Jan 16th 2016
Well here it is…possibly the most revolutionary event on the Xbox 360 in our crew. Whilst some members were moving over to Xbox One, the majority of the crew still remained on 360 and mostly because of this fantastic series of races. The GTWC took inspiration from real life Formula 1, incorporating pit strategies, Blue flags and intense bumper to bumper racing.
Many of you in Impromptu will be quick to admit that the “best” or at least most memorable racing came from racing in the GTWC. This event was hosted by iEnf0rcer with the assistance of Mo v0 and myself.
Drivers would put their best efforts each week on some extremely challenging tracks in brutal weather conditions and against the best of the best. A great send off to GTA V Racing on the Xbox 360!
Highlights: Mo v0
____________________________________
Whilst it wasn’t a complete end to Xbox 360 Racing it was the final hoorah to any big events. Although credit to ChocoMuffin423 for keeping the console alive for a few months with his weekly playlists.
And so began the transfer to Xbox One. It was a difficult process for most drivers, the competition was much faster and the game felt smoother so it was difficult to adapt.
Our first racing came in the form of our One-Offs held by Frostmoar. A two part Sports Car Showdown. Using the top and middle tier cars at the time.
The Coil Voltic World Championship: Jan 30th - Mar 26th 2016
Our first main event was hosted by Mo v0. After a successful F1 style Season, many thought thought it would be great to see a similar style but instead using electric cars, in this case the Coil Voltic.
Despite being an unused car the event quickly filled all 30 spots within a few weeks of preparation and was our largest event to date. It was also the first multi-crew event for all of Impromptu so a mixed bag of racers were involved.
It definitely showed in the early stages of the event, the racing was rough, frustrating at times, but slowly the bad apples dropped out and it became a much cleaner racing environment. Certainly an event with a lot of potential but suffered from a debut performance.

IMPR vs CLD9 Crew Battle (Result Impromptu: 193 - Cloud9: 209): Feb 6th 2016
Whew...where do I start? Let's just say it was a night to remember. Firstly I would just like to applaud the fantastic driving that happened that day by both teams. As a new racing crew to the Xbox One scene we soon found our ground and met a lot of other racing crews swiftly. However, Cloud9 Racing stood out the most. The presence those guys had on track was mature, but threatening. They were renowned for being godly fast and with racers like Joe_wk and Ensyyy it was quite clear why that was the case. Still, it didn't take us long to muster up the courage to challenge them to a crew battle and we didn't regret it.
We practiced extremely hard for this and it worth every drop of sweat. Even the Cloud9 guys didn't expect a challenge but we gave them one, narrowly missing out and losing by 16 points overall.
We were watched by over 120 people that night and represented our crew like Champions! It was a proud moment to be able to race along side some of the fastest racers in Impromptu, alongside some good friends! Thanks to everyone who raced and especially those who supported us in the streams. We proved a lot of people wrong that day and we were proud to represent our crew!

San Andreas Touring Car Championship Season 2: Feb 5 - April 1st 2016
With a second season always on the horizon after a successful first season, event host iEnf0rcer certainly delivered another sensational season of fast paced racing of the highest calibre. This time we were going bigger and better. The car selection this time round was mid-tier sports including the following; Carbonizzare, Banshee, Verlierer, Coquette and Alpha.
This Championship saw the Carbonizzare walk away with victory despite the strengths from the other options. I, myself, claimed Gold in both the Individual and Constructors Championships defending both titles from the previous season.
With a tight Championship battle the teams and individual standings were very close due to the strength of drivers on each team. This may also be the only event that Fancy was knocked off of a podium spot!
Overall, there was some intense racing during the season making it my all time favourite event to have participated in (maybe a small bias due to my success). A great second season for iEnf0rcer.

Benefactor vs Pfister Cup: Mar 19th - Apr 23rd 2016
With the Touring Cars coming to an end and no other events scheduled to start, I decided that an event using a Comet and Surano would be a bit of fun.
Both cars are underappreciated and we're too fast for the Touring Cars, so I decided to host my own “small” event rivalling the two cars against each other. It was only supposed to have 16 people but after 2 weeks we already had 20 signups from mixed racing crews.
The event ran exceptionally smoothly and at the time became my most successful event. The battle were close and some fantastic drivers bloomed. We saw some unexpected winners; ImmatureGold0 and the return of FearedStraw69 to the racing scene. He demonstrated his impressive talent after returning to racing from a 5 month break and beating event winners such as Dezign, Fancy and myself.

The next two events were held around the same time when interest in online racing was reaching a peak.
After almost 2 months and no big events hyped up, Frostmoar and myself released two huge events that rallied up all of our members as well as some fantastic drivers from other crews.
Impromptu Multi-Class Endurance Championship Season 2: Jun 25th - Sep 3rd
It had been 6 months since the last one finished, but people had been asking for a second season for quite some time. It required a lot of planning and a lot of time to fit together this incredible event.
Again, in the hand of Frostmoar, the events ran better than ever, introducing a broad range of new vehicles.
There were some very close battles around the field during the season. I found myself having a season long battle with Mo v0. We shared wins across the season taking the battle for the lead down to the final race and a fortunate victory for myself.
Frostmoar showed a lot of improvement over the season and dominated the GT2 field taking consistent wins from very fast drivers such as daanweerts, JettaArts and kenrei T.
We also saw close finishes in the teams standings rounding off a very balanced and fun event.

Hyper Class Cup: Jul 1st - Aug 26th 2016
This was my first Supercar event hosting small endurance races on a variety of tracks. These cars included; X80 Proto, FMJ, Zentorno, Osiris and T20. This event celebrated our first year as a crew and the successes we had achieved.
The original event was to feature the Entity and Turismo, but with new releases from DLCs, we decided to go ahead and experiment with the new Supers.
This was and still is by far my most successful event. Interest stayed high for many weeks and we exceeded 24 signups in 3 weeks making it my record for most participants in my own event.
Being a summer event, people were constantly taking breaks making it hard to keep the numbers high, which was understandable. But overall the event went swimmingly and I enjoyed every minute of hosting. I plan to do something like this in the near future so keep your eyes peeled for more information.
During each week, many battles occurred showing just how competitive the Supercar class really is. Four different cars shared the top 5 spots in the Individual Standings.
In the final weeks we switched the X80 to the Turismo. The decision was made due to the tracks being unsuitable for such a large car. This provided better battling and the Turismo showed it could still hang with the best.
As far as events go, I considered this to be my last event that I hosted (due to the unsuccessful attempt in the GT Challenger Cup).

With GTA V seeming to die out, playlists were scarce and there were no events in the calendar. At least 2 months had passed, I attempted to bring back our old racing etiquette with “GT2sday” but numbers were low and I had limited time.
Fortunately, a breath of fresh air hit the scene. A new formation with the name GTA United kick started a new era for GTA Online Racing.
Similar to Frostmoar’s MCEC, thedelgadic1 and The Real Bdogs hosted up an new series of Multi-Class racing bringing together loads of new crews and racers. Within a week the roster was full (a full 27 man grid) and the event flourished in the early weeks.
This event also introduced very fast racers across Xbox One to each other creating new friendships and rivalries. New members flooded to our forums looking to race replacing the older members that had left.
GTA United vs Impromptu Racing (Result Impromptu 256 - GTAU 171): Dec 17th 2016
GTA United bursted onto the scene with a lot of enthusiasm and a hunger for a crew battle. It had been some time since our last one, so I decided it would be good for the crew to rally up the team and take on newer opponents to see if we still had it.
Altogether it was a fun crew battle both teams showing the fast pace racing on Xbox One. I felt our team was much stronger from experience and more practice, but a rematch in the future is always on the cards.

Newer faces to the racing scene such as I Stxnce I, RobFusions and the return of BallisticBlaze3 meant for faster competition and a bunch of new people to meet and regularly race with. For iEnf0rcer this was a huge incentive to bring back the much anticipated GTWC and soon enough preparation took place.
Grotti Turismo World Championship Season 2: Dec 11th 2016 - Jan 29th 2017
After a year of preparation, testing and delays. The second chapter to our most successful event final hit in the Christmas of 2016.
With new arrivals doubling the numbers circling our forums, the signups list for GTWC was huge. Hitting 19 signups in 6 days and finally reaching the capacity of 22 a week later.
Tracks were thoroughly tested, improved and ready to make drivers suffered exhausting hour long, heart pounding races competing against some of the finest drivers racing today. We also saw the introduction to our first Pit-Crew in an event. This made life easier on the track, Racing ng was cleaner, starts were more efficient and incidents were dealt with quickly.
This season saw Oh That Dezign improve his pace, consistency and also his mental attitude in racing as he crushed the opposition and took home a well deserved first place in the Championship.
This also marked the temporary retirement for iEnf0rcer, ending his current GTA 5 racing career on a high note. But if the interest and enjoyment is still there, who knows whether we will see a third season?
As one of Impromptu last official events and being the largest, it brought an era of racing to a close and the crew slowly moved onto other games or continued racing with other crews.
