Ok so i've bit my tongue trying to like this update over the 5 weeks it has been out. And i have noticed over those 5 weeks that even the MC community is tired of the update which is sad i was happy that they finally got noticed. The question is really does Rockstar actually think people are enjoying these updates or are they over listening to the false excitement in youtube streams. With one vehicle left and the update being out 5 weeks now i ask what happened to all the content from updates being released at launch. So please discuss below your thought on this "update" I'm curious if im the only one with this hatred or if everyone else is biting their tounges.

First thing I want to touch is the "drip-fed" content - the week by week (or bi-weekly is some cases) releases. While it is annoying for some - I don't think it is a bad thing. Sure, I don't like it that much, but it gives me a reason to come check the game out every week, rather than the be given everything on Day 1 and play with it all in 24 hours -and also, Rockstar is a business, they got to do what they got to do to make money. Plus, we've been getting this style of content release for over a year now. The first Low Riders update had drip-fed the Franken Stange and Lurcher, Executives had the Tampa, Low Riders 2 had the Sabre Turbo and co. and so on. This has been going on for quite some time, and now you're questioning it? Now for the update: I personally think this is the 2nd best update we've received, just behind Cunning Stunts - and that is coming from someone who isn't a fan of motorbikes. Prior to this, any vanilla game bike and update bikes were underwhelming and rather disappointing. However, this update brought in a huge variety of bikes - cruisers, bobbers, choppers, sports/super bikes, crotch rockets, cafe racers... We also got a couple cars (and the Youga Classic still to come), the Raptor (aka the Scab-Beetle abortion result) and the Tornado Ratrod - a rather neat addition. We also have some (very expensive) balance within the class between the Pig Benusaro (oops) and the Hakuchou Drag. My personal favorites from the update are probably the Nightblade ( <3 ), the Sanctus (red headlights!), and the Vortex. Each have their own quirks and qualities that I enjoy, so that's cool. I think the main reason the MC community is "disappointed' or tired is because they had their expectations set unrealistically high for their dream update. They all wanted a huge, expansive update that wasn't within Rockstar's typical realm of creation. I was pleasantly surprises since I never had my hopes up for this, and now I love the bikes they added. Granted, I'm not thrilled with the prices, especially a two - 2 million dollar novelty bikes (one serving a practical purpose I suppose). While I love my Sanctus, it is not worth two million, well, maybe - red headlights. Fight me. The freemode side of this update is also rather cool (albeit a rehash of CEO work), while it isn't as profitably as CEO work, it is arguable more involved and less tedious if you have a decently sized MC you play with. In short, I've genuinely loved this update and what it has brought (especially Deadline - the best adversary mode to date in my opinion, maybe after Slasher). Bdogs Your post hasn't really properly expressed your "hatred" or justified it, just sounds like spouting exposition - so what is your reasoning behind your opinion, or did you just want to warrant a response?

Buckle up bitches I'm going to do a Frostmoar essay So it's relatively well known I don't like bikes, I never did. I always considered them pointless; they may very well have been the quickest way from a-to-b, but at the cost of being knocked off the Pancakeing thing by dumb NPC drivers. I'd much have preferred a reasonably fast car knowing if I get a retard hit me, at least I’m still driving and I don't have to get up off the floor before continuing my journey. I’d rather get there later than I anticipated, but in one piece. I also hated the idea of what Rockstar perceived a motorbike to be. If you want to go as fast as possible you’ll want a sports bike, so naturally prior to this update the vast majority of bikes were exactly that. However if you were like me (bear in mind I live five minutes from a biker bar)and your idea of a proper bike was a big ol’ Harley with a fat bloke in leather, with more hair around his face than on top of his head (as opposed to some spotty dickhead in a shell suit riding around on his mums hairdryer trying to impress the 15 year old school girls at the bus stop by pulling a wheelie and almost coming off the thing!), then you were extremely limited to what you could pick. I can honestly say none of those bikes really spoke to me to a point where I’d consider buying and keeping it. Of course I had a Bati and a Sanchez (more recently BF400) but that was out of necessity rather than actually wanting to have it because it looked cool. That being said I’ve actually enjoyed some of the update. I like the clubhouse, even if it is a glorified slightly expensive apartment, but to be fair after the CEO stuff it doesn’t surprise me, nor would it if they did something similar again in future. It’s quite handy, because now I don’t have to travel to Sandy Shores to play a game of darts!! I like the fact I don’t have to leave the clubhouse just to mod a bike (even if it’s cost me an arm and a leg). I even like some of the bikes! Something I never thought I’d say. The Shotaro - despite being stupidly overpriced is amazing, the Nightblade is everything I’ve ever wanted in a motorbike. I even talked myself into buying the Sanctus, even if it’s a complete gimmick. The cars I was less impressed with. The Raptor in fairness probably would have been better suited to off roads or compacts. Despite how unique it looks, it’s terrible to drive, I only wish it didn’t freak out over even the smallest of bumps and it might have been something I occasionally bring out for a laugh, having said that I may rebuy one in the future. The Tornado Rat-Rod is another case of looks cool, drives Pig Benus. Needless to say we now have our millionth variation of a Tornado in the game, I eagerly await the Coquette hot rod in the future . Can’t wait for the Youga Classic, I’ve said this for a while but I’ve tried to create the mystery machine before and couldn’t quite get it right, I’ll actually be content once it is eventually released. One final point I’ll make is with regard to this slow release of content. Whilst I see why Rockstar would want to do this (hype, shark card sales), I find this annoying. I have no complaints with hiding holiday DLC in tuneable files, especially for xmas, let’s be honest you can’t expect somone to go into R* HQ to press a button to release some content. But I’d rather them drop a DLC and then start work on the next one rather than release one vehicle a week, hoping everyone buys it just to bide them time while they plan the next lot of content. Overall an alright DLC, better than I expected. Essay over. No tl/dr!!
