We encourage everyone to experience running an event as it is fun, but also you get to choose what you want to do. Secondly, everyone has new ideas to bring to the table so we all can experience new events!
You must post your event in the 'Interest/Ideas' board first. Here you can post ideas for events that you have thought of, or gather interest for suggestions that you have come up with. Develop those ideas taking feedback from other members of our crew and create a template for your event, so that people can follow rules simply and understand how the event works.
Once you have your event idea organised, tag or message iEnf0rcer , asking him if the event is ready to be moved into the 'Event Submission/Finalised Events' board, from here we queue up finalised events and prepare them for when a spot opens up in 'Active Events'.
Event guidelines:
•Only 3 events per game can run at one time.
•Your event can last up to a maximum of 8 weeks - to give everyone a chance to host their events. This only applies for the first season only, any further seasons can have an extra two weeks scheduled.
•You can only post one season at a time, and must wait for your first season to finish before you post the second season (if you wish to continue your event). You must post season two in the event ideas thread again and the same process will repeat.
•You will have up to two weeks to gather sign-ups for your event once it has been moved to active events. If you have not gathered the interest you wanted for your event in two weeks, it will be moved back to the 'Event Submission/Finalised Events' board
You must specify the console that the event will take place on, using the tags (XB360) or (XB1).
Any questions ask me or any of the commissioners
A template that you could use to help people understand the event:
What is this event?
(What do you do in this event?)
How will this work?
(How do you plan to run this event, are there teams or a points system etc?)
Rules:
(What are all the rules everyone must follow?)
Time/Date:
(Post the time of the race and the dates this will take place on)
Race Settings:
(Number of laps, weather, time of day, pit stops/joker laps)
Signups:
What if i have an event for a different console?
If you have an event for the Xbox 360, put (XB360) before the title of your event.
If you have an event for the Xbox One, put (XB1) before the title of your event.
What if i have a one-off event?
If you have a one off event, please put (One-Off) after the title of your event.
Please refer to @ienf0rcer if you need help with your event or if you think its eligible to become an active event.
