Well if its that much off pace... I'm sure you can cut it down to a 2:45 with enough practice and learning, but with amount of hotlapping it'll take, better of learning a different car that's competitive. Ive always wanted to be a unicorn

So early today (well, yesterday for most of you), I did some more 811 testing. I decided to test its top speed without the spoiler, and I'm impressed to say the least. While I don't have the scientific approach to top speed testing like Broughy, but I ran the car without the spoiler against the Turismo and the FMJ (with the help Ra1derz Dr1verz and THE_best_ST1G ). While it was going to undoubtedly be faster than the T20/Turismo/Osiris/Zentorno quartet, I was interested to see where it fell with the FMJ. Well, off the line the 811 won, no surprise, while it is heavier, and slightly less powerful, its AWD system propels it forward. After getting the jump, the 811 held a gap to the FMJ, but the distance didn't change. However, in the second test, the 811 crept forward (despite starting about 200 ft behind the FMJ) and slowly drove by. These differences in top speed could be attributed to small steering input, so the speeds slightly varied. Either way, the no-spoiler 811 has about the same top speed or so as the FMJ (~125mph), no way telling for sure right now I'd say maybe 126mph at the most. However, that wasn't the end of the testing. I decided to pit the stock 811 against the Osiris's and FMJ's stock variants. As all the cars get a spoiler traction bonus, the performance SHOULD scale to be similar to stock testing (basically, I did tested them in the stock form to get a hypothetical performance difference as if the 811's spoiler wasn't broken). In my city track (Del Rockford Raceway, same track as the Supercar showdown Part 2), the 811 was less than a second slower than the Osiris, giving both cars an equal number of laps. On my airport track, LSIA Grand Circuit, the FMJ, despite being the 'king of the airport,' was only a second faster than the stock 811, given that it was much easier to drive. Even though the 811 was a handful to control, a second slower than the airport king is impressive. This brief stock testing might be able to somewhat gauge how the car would normally perform if the spoiler wasn't broken.

So I did a little "top speed" testing for the 811 with, and without the upgraded spoiler. Obviously, I haven't got as scientific as Broughy by doing the math and getting the hard numbers of the top speed. The videos below show more than the drag race to prove that the car is in fact fully upgraded. To get the drag race, it starts a little bit into each video:

where's the tl/dr?! I have the concentration of a small child tl;dr - The 811 without its spoiler has the same/similar top speed to the FMJ, and the 811's stock form is close to top tier stock super car's lap times.

Well, last time I do an actual post here, now that the Seven-70 is out, we can rest assured that there are no more cars hidden among the coding which Rockstar plan to release on a later date. Only time will tell when the Cunning Stunts update is released (my bet is early August). As shown by our own testing, and our lord and savior's , the car is very well balanced. It is very much comparable to the 9F in terms of its use in the Sports class. While on paper, both cars are slightly lacking in the lap times, but in an actual racing situation, they are "Situation'" GT1 cars, when in normal circumstances they are GT1.5/GT2 cars. It possesses phenomenal top speed, just .5mph off the V12, making it 2nd in class. Its only real weakness is its acceleration, but in every other category, it has its older brother, the Massacro, beat. The lack in acceleration is where all time is lost, as their isn't many tracks where the Seven-70 can utilize the top speed advantage. Perhaps it'll stand a better chance than the Massacro on airport tracks due to the superior traction, but even then, the Elegy is the only relevant airport sports car it seems. Some number's below in the spoiler for those interested, taken from the coding.
Car | Engine Power | Drag | Max Speed | Weight | Upshift Rate | Downshift Rate | Brake Force | Cornering Grip | Elegy RH8 | .33 | 9.5 | 152mph | 1,700kg | 2.2 | 2.2 | .5 | 2.7 | Massacro (Racecar) | .364 | 10 | 156.2mph | 1,700kg | 3 | 3 | .9 | 2.43 | Seven-70 | .335 | 8.7 | 159mph | 1,650kg | 3.1 | 3.1 | 1 | 2.56 |
So, as you can see, the Seven-70, despite being lighter, having a better upshift rate, and low drag + higher top speed, it accelerates slower due to it being less powerful, but a decent margin, it isn't until the high-end of the power band that the Seven-70 beings to pull on the Massacro. While the top 5 or so sports cars can rest easy for now, the Seven-70 is still a fun car to challenge the fast ones in the class, same as the 9F. Future championships and events for the car will definitely will coming up, and I look forward to seeing them. Despite its slight off pace-ness, this may be my go-to sports car, especially on those long Blaine County tracks (e.g. Circuit de la Blaine). Season 3 of SATCC needs to happen now (@ienf0rcer ).

Seven-70 definitely awesome on airport and Blaine County tracks, not so great in the hills, still prefer the Massacro there.
I find it interesting that Rockstar have seemingly produced a number of cars recently that don't like bumps; sabre turbo custom, x80, 811, Rumpo custom, etc.
