It's back
It is officially back know, no hitches, and it is practically finished. With the start date just two months away now, sign-ups will be started, and the hype is on. Using the link below, you will fill out a form to pick what class you want to be. When it comes time for me to pick teams, and the class allocation isn't even, I may have to move classes around, so be wary about that.
Each race will be an hour and a half (90 minutes), so this'll be an ultimate test of endurance. People will cry, complain, rage, and go through the whole rainbow of emotions this season. Prepare yourself for one of the biggest events seen so far.
Week 10 Information:
Date: September 3rd
-GT1: Pisswasser Dominator
-GT2: Redwood Gauntlet
Customs: On
Restricted Modifications: None
Laps: 35
Time: Current
Weather: Current
Team/Individual Standings and Schedule: Link Here
Class Preference Form: Link Here
Cars:
In the race, you are required to bring your own car, unless you are a reserve (it is still recommended that you have the car to eliminate the risk of losing the car if someone DC's). If you do not have the car when the race starts, you will not be allowed to race.
Pre-Lobby:
Invites for the pre-race lobby will go out at 7:00PM BST. The actual race will be starting at 7:30PM BST. Do not be late. No chaos in pre-race lobbies either. An on-grid position penalty will be put in place if you constantly cause trouble. Every week I will post the meet-up location several days before race-day of that week.
Starting Procedure:
Quite simple. We will line up in a 2 x 2 grid formation, the standard grid line up, with a car's length distance to the car ahead. Obviously, GT1 at the front, and GT2 behind. On the info spreadsheet will be starting positions. Each race will have the chance to start in each position once. A GT2 driver will place a bomb and blow it up to signal the start of the GT1 race. 30 - 90 seconds later (depends on the track, and gap between GT1 and GT2 lap times), the GT2s will set off at the sound of an explosion.
Respawning and Pitting:
No respawning in races, unless you absolutely need to, e.g., falling off a cliff, falling off the highway, fell into river, stuck, etc. Please use the pit lane if you need to repair your car. Try, within the best of your abilities, to stay on the track. Constantly respawning can have unwanted issues, such as throwing off another driver.
There are no mandatory pits this season, so be alert of that, but the pits will always be open for drivers to use if their car is damaged.
Penalties:
Penalties will be given to drivers who chose to disobey easy-to-follow rules, or to those of poor driving on the track. Penalties will be given for both on and off track offenses.
Causing issues in the pre-race lobby will initially warrant a grid place penalty. However, repeated offenses will escalated to mandatory pit waits for 20 seconds, and even mandatory waiting at the starting line for a set amount of time. If you're incapable of following simple rules, I suggest you don't race in this championship. If offenses get too far, I will consider banning you from the race for that week, or a follow one. If you are not at fault (e.g. a cop driving into you, and getting a wanted level) make it clear to me, I don't want to give unjustified penalties.
On track offenses are the same, cause issues; penalty. If you accidentally hit someone off the track, or spin them around, and you wait, then no penalty will be enacted. However, constantly hitting other drivers, not waiting, disobeying blue flags, driving unsafely onto the track after crashing, constantly causing collisions, you will be punished.
ANY killing in the pre-race lobby will result in a penalty. (If you're in the lobby before 7:00PM, the official start time, then rules will be more lenient). If you bring and vehicles, such as Hydras and Buzzards, that are capable of destruction, please discard of them, or place them in unreachable locations, you can use them for transportation, BUT THAT IS IT.
Point System:
If a reserve drivers substitutes for another driver, the points they've gained will be added to team's points, but the driver will still receive 0 points.
We will also be using a 'Best 8' System. That means your worst two races will be dropped from your total score, so if you have a bad race, you can still stay in the points.

Teams:
You and your team mate are required to have the team colors on your car, don't show up with a hot pink car and blue rims if the team colors are red and black.
Before signing up, please read the Impromptu Racing Guidelines.
Rules: Since this may be a multi-crew event (still deciding), I have to outline specific rules. The rule list will be quite extensive, so it'll be put in the spoiler below. Since some crews have slightly different rule-sets or race expectations, these rules will be strict expectations of this event.
Welcome to the rules!
-Wait or Not to Wait?
- Do not intentionally knock someone off the track, if you do, wait for them.
-Even if knocking a racer off the track was unintentional (e.g. crashing yourself out, then hitting a fellow racer), you still must wait.
-If you crash on the racing line, causing someone to crash into you, you must must wait for them to pass.
-If a player has crashed, and they drive back onto the track, onto the racing line, and you hit them, you do not have to wait. They drove back onto the track at a dangerous moment, and should've waited till it was safe.
-If a player is swerving all across the road constantly (e.g. getting off the racing line to grab every curb known to man), and you hit them whilst on the racing line, you don't need to wait. They were swerving, causing potential danger. They also broke the 1-move per straight rule.
-Attacking and Defending.
-DO NOT DIVEBOMB. It is by far the most aggressive, and most dangerous over-taking technique ever. You are more likely to ruin your race and the defender's race.
-No blocking on a straight. NO SWERVING. You can't sit in front of someone to prevent them from passing you if they have overspeed.
-One defensive move on a straight. Like the previous rule, you cannot swerve to keep someone at bay, or swerve to grab any kind of curb boost. If you are alone on the track, then feel free to swerve at your own expense.
-No pre-race chaos. Doing so will result in grid penalties, waits in pits, waiting at start line.
