GTA United Multi-Class Endurance Championship
Season 2
Time: 5 PM UTC - Saturday - April 1
It's back
Car Choice and Tracks
Well, this event is back. The first season fell apart near the end and we want to push forward and move onto season 2. This event maxed out on signups within the first week of signups last season, and it looks like that will happen again this season. Signups will go on until February 18, 2017. On February 18, 2017, the team draws will be streamed live on thedelgadicone’s youtube and bdogs Senpai twitch. After that, signups will be converted to waiting list and will be pulled into the event if a person from their prefered gt drops out.
There will be 8 , 60 minute races every Saturday starting on April 1 and ending May 20. Individual standings will be taken as a best out of 6 system.

Cars:
In the race, you are required to bring your own car, unless you are a reserve (it is still recommended that you have the car to eliminate the risk of losing the car if someone DC's). If you do not have the car when the race starts, you will not be allowed to race.
Pre-Lobby:
Invites for the pre-race lobby will go out at 4:30 PM UTC. The actual race will be starting at 5:00 PM UTC. Do not be late. No chaos in pre-race lobbies either. An on-grid position penalty will be put in place if you constantly cause trouble. Every week I will post the meet-up location several days before race-day of that week.
Starting Procedure:
Quite simple. We will line up in a 2 x 2 grid formation, the standard grid line up, with a car's length distance to the car ahead. Obviously, GT1 at the front, and GT2 behind. On the info spreadsheet will be starting positions. Each race will have the chance to start in each position once. A GT2 driver will place a bomb and blow it up to signal the start of the GT1 race. 30 - 90 seconds later (depends on the track, and gap between GT1 and GT2 lap times), the GT2s will set off at the sound of an explosion. The GT3 cars will follow suit.
Respawning and Pitting:
No respawning in races, unless you absolutely need to, e.g., falling off a cliff, falling off the highway, fell into river, stuck, etc. Please use the pit lane if you need to repair your car. Try, within the best of your abilities, to stay on the track. Constantly respawning can have unwanted issues, such as throwing off another driver.
There are no mandatory pits this season, so be alert of that, but the pits will always be open for drivers to use if their car is damaged.
Penalties:
Penalties will be given to drivers who chose to disobey easy-to-follow rules, or to those of poor driving on the track. Penalties will be given for both on and off track offenses.
Causing issues in the pre-race lobby will initially warrant a grid place penalty. However, repeated offenses will escalated to mandatory pit waits for 20 seconds, and even mandatory waiting at the starting line for a set amount of time. If you're incapable of following simple rules, I suggest you don't race in this championship. If offenses get too far, I will consider banning you from the race for that week, or a follow one. If you are not at fault (e.g. a cop driving into you, and getting a wanted level) make it clear to me, I don't want to give unjustified penalties.
On track offenses are the same, cause issues; penalty. If you accidentally hit someone off the track, or spin them around, and you wait, then no penalty will be enacted. However, constantly hitting other drivers, not waiting, disobeying blue flags, driving unsafely onto the track after crashing, constantly causing collisions, you will be punished.
Point System:
