This goes to anyone, the tracks have been confirmed, there may or may not be a vote for week 9 still, it's up to enforcer. Apart from that the rest will remain as they are. Don't like don't compete, simple.

Although there was no specified date for testing the tracks, over the course of two weeks, we continuously tested the tracks and got the publics opinions. PUBLIC OPINIONS?? Yes, we did listen to the public, at first we were sceptical about a Paleto bay track but the public wanted it in the event so we chose it. Alamo ring is a track that everyone likes and we have listened to the public which is why we are creating a poll before the event to decide which track the PUBLIC wants in the event. Streamline Raceway was also a favourite in playlists and people said its a great track for the event so we included it. So don't just assume that we didn't allow people to voice their opinions because we did, unfortunately you weren't there to voice yours. The tracks have been finalised, the only track subject to change is Direita Esquerda.

No-one is forcing anyone to race something they don't like. I make my point.

Although not participating in the event, I agree with @formulamoss about the track selection. It's the same deal as with the Banshee/Carbonizzare/Verlierer event; a lot of different tracks from different creators, and thus not necessarily the best tracks.
It's cool that everyone has a go with the creator, but fact is that it takes a lot of time and practice before you can make a decent race. There's only a select group of people who truly make great stuff, and (despite the event's nature) if I were you I would select from those guys only if it comes to tracks for events.
Anyway, not posting this to fuel the flames, just trying to create some awareness towards the quality of all our events. If anyone want to host a 'big-deal' event, than they should use 'big-deal' tracks...

If anyone want to host a 'big-deal' event, than they should use 'big-deal' tracks... This is a big deal event however we don't want to use big deal tracks as they are over used and aren't new making the event feel dull. I understand people's opinions about the tracks however I have chosen them with the initial idea that the event is going to differentiate from season 1. In season 1, we used many Big deal tracks which was good for a time however there weren't any tracks which stood out. so for season 2, I have decided to change things up, use track which are challenging, new and stand out. Many of of the tracks in the event we're created especially for the GTWC. Many of the tracks maybe difficult but it's because seasons 1 tracks were quite simple. I think you would of have to raced in season 1 to understand why we are doing things differently.

Right everyone, I think we should end this controversial argument about the tracks, your opinions have been heard and hopefully we have answered many of your questions and why things are different, thankyou.

Why not just switch out Direita and Alamo now? We already had a poll and Direita had only one vote from you, the other 7 that had the opportunity to vote picked Alamo... I don't see a reason to procrastinate something that we already know the answer to... Also, I don't see why we didn't just do what we did last year or do a version of what IG | Friday is doing right now in Hyper-Class... Have literally the community 'vote' or rate a selection of given tracks... This isn't my idea, but, what could've happened AND STILL CAN (since the event starts in SEPTEMBER) is you pick however many different locations on the map, select a Pig Benus ton of tracks (sorting them based on location - so like 'vinewood grand prix' would consist of vinewood tracks and so on), then have the PUBLIC actually go put a rating on what they think, then we easily get a majority and an overall rating to what the PUBLIC wants in the event and will enjoy. Instead of having 2 guys trying to almost guess what the majority wants. And this would make it all the more obvious why the tracks are the way they are, instead of having inconsistencies in your reasonings for the track selection. @ienf0rcer
